Tenakata Sales and Collections Intern - Kabarnet Jobs in Kenya




The Sales Intern wil; supports the sales and collections team in achieving branch targets, delivering excellent customer service, and generating leads. The role provides hands‑on experience in market research, debt recovery, customer education, and reporting, while contributing to overall business growth.

Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Work in pairs with Business Development Officers and Collections Officers.

  • Generate sales leads and identify business opportunities.

  • Participate in meetings and assist in customer education.

  • Maintain strong customer relationships.

    Collections & Customer Service

  • Assist in contacting debtors to receive payments.

  • Follow up on defaulters to recover payments.

  • Deliver first‑rate customer service and support branch targets.

    Reporting & Market Feedback

  • Assist in accurate and timely reporting of management information.

  • Provide market feedback on customer preferences, trends, and opportunities.

    Qualifications & Competencies

    Education

  • Diploma or Degree in Sales/Marketing or related field.

    Skills & Experience
  • Computer literacy required.

  • Background in sales/marketing preferred.

  • Experience in related field an added advantage.

  • Experience in a financial institution an added advantage.
