Human Resource Officer
Jobs Ref: TVO/05/2019/003
Job Purpose

Ensure that suitably qualified multi skilled personnel are available to meet the organizations requirements and that efficient and economic use of human resource is maintained.

Reporting to the Finance and Administration Services

Key Tasks

To assist departmental heads in identifying manpower requirements training needs and in formulating and facilitating training programs.

To develop and maintain systems for recruitment, selection, orienting and placement of staff.

To deal with all industrial relations matters: disputes interpretation of various labour laws, staff regulations administration of the salaries and benefits package rewarding.

To develop and institute human resource and diversity policy matters of recruitment.

Performance appraisal, promotion, demotion and redundancy of employees in consultation with respective Heads of Departments and Sections.

Develop and Manage staff performance appraisal system

To ensure the company remains competitive and progressive in remuneration policies.

To ensure adequacy of staff welfare, safety and security at all working places.

To administer staff benefits and Schemes.

Qualifications

Be a holder of Diploma in Human Resource management or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

Be a registered member of a professional body.

Satisfactorily work experience performance in related field for a period of three (3) years.

Proficiency in Computer skills

Shown merit and ability as

reflected in work performance and results

Satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 on Leadership and Integrity
