Tana River County Economist/Statistician Jobs in Kenya

Duties and Responsibilities

Collecting, collating and analysing economic data in the relevant sectors;

Compiling sector-specific draft reports;

Participating in monitoring and evaluation activities in the county;

Providing support in the preparation of policy briefs and reports on the relevant sectors;

Capturing data on budgetary requirements;

Uploading information in the National Integrated Monitoring and Evaluation System
(NIMES); and

Any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: -

Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: - Economics, Statistics, Economics and Mathematics, Economics and Finance or Economics and Statistics from a recognized institution; and

Certificate in computer application skills.
