TAL Garments Manufacturing PLC Laboratory Technician Jobs in Ethiopia


Job Description

  • Test incoming fabric/sub-material for confirmation to the company and customer standards as per the testing SOP.

  • Test sample/bulk garments for confirmation to the company and customer standard as per the testing SOP.

  • Produce lab testing reports in a timely manner based on the testing results.

  • Participate in required examinations in order to be certified by customers for performing lab testing services on their behalf.

  • Participate in pre-production meetings to notify teams regarding any potential problems with the fabric.

  • Perform monthly calibration on lab equipment and contact suppliers for assistance in case of equipment malfunction.

  • Maintain clear records of the test reports that have been issued by the lab.

  • Maintain a clear record of customer lab test requirements. Update the records whenever new requirements are received from the customer.

    Job Requirements

    Education

  • Bachelor's degree in textile/garment engineering or an equivalent qualification.

    Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of experience on related position.

    Additional Requirements:

  • Basic computer skill on MS office

  • Knowledge and understanding of textile laboratory instrument

  • Ability to understand, communicate and write English is required
