Job Description

Job Purpose: to act as a bridge between customers and the Factory to ensure customer orders are serviced to meet/exceed customer expectations in the areas of fabric development, sample development, and bulk production; provide the support required for effective pre-production preparation, fabric control, and the creation of a customer-driven mindset throughout the Factory in support of the Factory’s overall performance and financial targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Communicate with customers on production progress and responding to customer queries

Coordinate development of samples

Order materials for production and resolve material problems

Follow up and monitor the sample order production progress

Create a customer-driven mindset in the Factory

Foster effective cross-functional working relationship

Understand and live by the Company’s core values

Take accountability for growing and continuously improving oneself

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree

Experience: 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment with customer interface

Functional Requirements:

Product Development (e.g. developing new samples)

Program Pipeline Management

Garment Knowledge

Fabric & Trims Knowledge

Has the drive to understand and meet customer’s needs

Has the drive and ability to understand the broader perspective, to see opportunities and create new ideas.

Has the drive to listen to others, accurately understand their issues and problems and dig deeper for more to find solutions

Is excited by convincing and persuading others to do what is needed
