Requirements

Must possess a PhD degree in Counselling or relevant field from a recognized institution.

Three (3) years’ experience as Senior Student Counsellor I or comparable position

Must be computer literate

Valid Certificate of Good Conduct

Exemplary work performance

OR

Must possess a Master’s degree in Counselling or related field from a recognized institution.

Five (5) years’ experience as Senior Student Counsellor I or comparable position

Valid Certificate of Good Conduct

Must be computer literate

Exemplary work performance

One (1) hard copy of the application addressed to the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Administration, Finance and Planning), accompanied by detailed curriculum vitae (with your telephone number and email address), copies of relevant academic and professional certificates, testimonials and other relevant supporting documents.

The Curriculum Vitae should include information on academic qualifications, professional experience, leadership and management roles, publications, awards, scholarships, funding, membership in professional associations, linkages, and community service.

Applicants should specify the position applied for and quote the reference number on both the envelope and the

application letter.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to present originals of the following documents during the interviews:

National Identity Card;

Academic and Professional Certificates and transcripts;

Any other supporting documents and testimonials; and

Clearances from the following bodies:

Kenya Revenue Authority;

Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission;

Higher Education Loans Board;

Any of the Registered Credit Reference Bureaus;

Directorate of Criminal Investigations (Police Clearance Certificate)

Recommendations from two (2) referees should be sent separately to the address below:
