Taita Taveta County Programmes Officer Jobs in Kenya

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Engage in managing development, implementation and review of policies,
strategies, standards, procedures and guidelines for county project and programmes;

2. Manage and oversee planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and
reporting on all county programmes and projects;

3. Contribute to developing plans, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and
reporting on all county programmes and projects;

4. Liase with relevant department to prepare reports;

5. Establish and maintain strategies collaborations and partnership with development
partners and the civil society organization in support of county programmes and
projects;

6. Monitor, evaluate and prepare reports on implementation of county programmes
and projects;

7. Ensure that county programmes and projects are aligned to budget, annual
development plans, the CIDP and other relevant planning documents;

8. Coordinate feasibility studies and surveys on viable programmes and projects;

9. Prioritize programmes and projects for resource allocation in line with the CIDP;

10. Facilitate preparation of county project proposals and reports;

11. Design strategies for mobilization of resources for implementation of county project
and programmes;

12. Ensure public participation in planning and implementation of county project and
programees and

13. Prepare periodic reports on the status of projects and programmes in the county
Requirements for Appointment

1. A Bachelor Degree in Project Planning and Management, Business Administration
or a related field from a recognized institution.

2. Obtained a Professional Certificate in project planning and Management, Business
Administration, or related field from a recognized certifying body;

3. Member in a recognized professional body
