Taita Taveta County Director Enforcement Jobs in Kenya

Duties and responsibilities

Answerable to the county chief officer in charge of devolution, public service and administration;

Identify all areas that require Enforcement of National and County laws and regulations as outlined under schedule four of the constitution of Kenya;

Develop Security and enforcement programmes within the county;

Administrative and Operational activities within the county

Ensure coordination and good working relationship with other National and county agencies in all security and enforcement matters and during disasters;

Develop frequent programs and inspection on regulated activities to ensure compliance within the county;

Analyze data for input in the development and review of policies, guidelines, procedures and strategies;

Implement all strategies on matters of security and enforcement; and,

Supervision, guidance, development and mentoring of staff in the county.

Requirements for Appointment:

First degree in the relevant field from a recognized university;

Served in the grade of Inspector of police or in comparable and relevant position in the public service for a minimum period of three (3) years and demonstrated exemplary service in the period of the service; and,

Demonstrated merit and shown ability as reflected in work performance and results.
