Taam Cab is seeking a Head of Human Resources.

Reporting

The Head of Human Resources will report to the Managing Director of Taam Cab.

Job Overview

The Head of HR will be responsible for hiring and overseeing a highly effective team at Taam Cab.

They will oversee recruitment of new employees, training programs, creatiing company po and performance reviews. Planning future hires and predicting expenditures will also be a crucial function in this role.

Core Responsibilities and Duties

Develop robust recruiting strategies and a rigorous hiring process

Establish standards for employee compensation, benefits, and promotion

Ensure compliance with all relevant human resource regulations

Create training and onboarding protocols for new employees

Create company and office policies.

Forecast spending and hiring needs for human resources.

Formulate performance review criteria for employees at all levels

Job Requirements

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree or higher

5+ years managing HR in a successful business

A proven track record in hiring and human resource management

Ability to generate clear reports on HR targets and progress

Knowledge of local business regulations in Ethiopia

Fluency in English and Amharic required

Fluency in other Ethiopian languages such as Oromo or Tigrinya a plus

Ethiopian citizenship

Willingness to be based in Addis Ababa
