Our client in real estate is currently recruiting for the above mentioned vacancy.

Reports to: Senior IT Manager

The primary purpose of this role is to maintain a stable and working IT Systems in the organisation.

This includes the design, development, installation, configuration, monitoring, securing and maintenance of all required software including Operating Systems, databases, business applications and mobile applications among others.

The holder is also responsible for training and supporting users.


Responsibilities


  • Implement, configure, administer and support of IT applications.
  • Monitor applications and takes corrective actions to prevent or minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system related problems and where required, coordinate with internal or external service providers.
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining of written company Policies and Procedures as required.
  • Gather, analyse, document and prioritise technology business requirements
  • Propose the best software coding languages, databases and other related technologies for adoption by the business.
  • Develop, alone or in teams, software applications for the business.
  • Document and maintain documentation of all business applications appropriately.
  • Install and configure securely and appropriately all business applications.
  • Implement and maintain software and data access rights and controls as approved by the head of IT.
  • Periodically review and document the configurations of business applications and related technologies to ensure they are secure and optimally configured.
  • Continuously monitor all running business softwares to identify, correct, all security vulnerabilities, bugs, breaches and other non-optimal occurrences and report to head of IT.
  • Identify, plan and execute the implementation of new applications, upgrades and patches to applications.
  • Ensure that new software integration into our systems meets functional requirements and system compliance.
  • Build custom reports and dashboards to support management decision making.
  • Implement IT Helpdesk system and devices remedial measures to reduce recurrence of issues through training of users,
    among other measures.
  • Ensure there is adequate and verified backups of all company data, softwares and licenses.
  • Ensure that all company data and softwares comply with all legal and business policy requirements.
  • Identify and meet users training requirements to use the business software efficiently.
  • Respond to and resolve support requests from software users in 24/7 basis.
  • Recommend the appropriate IT infrastructure requirements to support company’s data and softwares.
  • Perform other related duties are required by the head of IT.


    Requirements


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or in equivalent field.
  • Software development: Certification and /or experience in modern programming skills
  • Database management: Certification and / or experience in modern database systems and techniques.
  • System Administration: Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA), Microsoft
  • Certified System Engineer (MCSE) or equivalent certifications and /or experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in system administration and/or software development.
  • Experience on both windows and linux environments.
  • Experience in training and supporting end users.
