System Administrator Jobs in Kenya

Job Purpose:

The system administrator will report to the financial controller / ERP head. You will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, server administration and managing the local and wide area networks of the organization to ensure smooth and maximum uptime for users.

Job Responsibilities / Duties

Computer Users Administration.

Support ERP application and its Users.

Data Backups and creation of recovery Policy.

Operating System Updates and Configuration.

Server Administration.

Network Monitoring.

Setting up security Policy.

Basic System Configuration and installation.

Installation, administration and troubleshooting of Local/Wide Area Networks (LAN/WAN).

CCTV Monitoring and Maintenance.

Maintenance of Virdi Biometrics machine and Servers.

Computer system repair and Maintenance.

Technical support for computer users.

Provision of Training on ERP software’s (Orion and Discoverer Report) for users.

Monitoring and documentation of ICT facilities.

Specific Targets / Objectives

Ensure prompt attendance to issues and problems of users.

Ensure timely backup and maintenance of user’s system.

Relationships / Contacts

Service providers / Staff.

Job Requirements

BSC/HND in Computer Engineering / Science

Computer Literate

Experience: 2 years
