Sun King Production Supervisor Jobs in Kenya




The Production Supervisor manages overall performance of TV and smartphone assembly lines. Responsibilities include planning and executing daily schedules, ensuring quality standards, maintaining safety, and leading production operators and technicians. The role requires strong stewardship, technical comprehension of electronic assembly processes, and focus on efficiency, quality assurance and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily production operations including scheduling, staffing and workflow.

  • Monitor processes and performance metrics; implement corrective actions.

  • Coordinate with Materials Handling Teams to ensure raw material availability.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

  • Train, mentor and develop production staff.

  • Conduct performance evaluations and address team concerns.

  • Collaborate with engineering and QA teams to resolve technical issues.

  • Implement Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Prepare regular reports on production performance metrics.

  • Monitor equipment performance and implement corrective actions.

  • Assist New Product Introduction (NPI) activities including training and trial runs.

    Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering.

  • Minimum 5 years’ electronics industry experience, including 2 years supervisory.

  • Proven supervisory experience in
    electronics manufacturing with CKD/SKD process knowledge.

  • Strong leadership and managerial skills.

  • Solid knowledge of production planning, scheduling and inventory management.

  • Problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities with focus on root‑cause analysis.

  • Excellent communication and people‑relations skills.

  • Ability to thrive in fast‑paced environments and manage multiple priorities.

  • Knowledge of quality management systems, lean manufacturing and safety regulations.

  • Familiarity with Kaizen 6S tenets.

  • Comprehension of production machinery and assembly procedures.

  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing safety protocols.
