Sun King Area Collections Executive (Reliever) Jobs in Kenya; We are looking for a results‑focused Area Collections Executive (ACE) to deliver portfolio collections and risk management within the hub. The role focuses on resolving defaulted and low‑consumption accounts, managing complex customer cases, and assisting Energy Officers with difficult collections and repossessions. The ACE will play a key role in protecting portfolio quality, improving customer payment behaviour, and ensuring timely resolution of emerging portfolio risks. This is a hub‑based role with significant field engagement.


Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out repossessions and ensure recovered products are delivered to the depot.

  • Contact allocated accounts and action payment resolutions.

  • Verify client relocation requests and coordinate account transfers between hubs.

  • Handle urgent uninstallation requests and coordinate retrievals.

  • Report fraud, misconduct, and product tampering to the Risk Manager.

  • Address customer complaints arising from repossessions and resolve disputes.

  • Investigate and resolve disputes between clients and Energy Officers.

  • Manage stolen product reports, verify incidents, and coordinate recovery.

  • Review repayment concerns and cookstove replacement requests.

  • Clarify contractual terms and ownership transfers.

  • Provide verified client location and ID details to Energy Officers.

  • Escalate non‑recoverable accounts to the Risk Manager.

  • Provide weekly updates to Sales and Risk teams on interventions and results.

  • Report product tampering cases through established mechanisms.

  • Train
    Energy Officers on repossessions and difficult collection issues.

  • Drive operating rhythm to ensure timely completion of collection calls and repossession tasks.


    Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in collections.

  • Credit management experience in MFI, Bank, Fintech, or PAYGO company (advantage).

  • Experience as a motorbike rider.

  • Strong people skills.

  • Fraud detection and investigation skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

  • Attention to detail and problem‑solving ability.

  • Good communication and presentation skills.

  • Strong planning skills.

  • Previous field collections experience (advantage).
