Sun King Area Business Manager - Ilesha Jobs in Nigeria;The Area Business Manager – Sapele will coordinate sales, collections and distribution operations for Sun King Solar products sold on a Pay‑As‑You‑Basis (“EasyBuy” Business Unit) through a network of Energy Officers.

The Manager is accountable for generating sales, ensuring timely collections and driving sustainable growth of the Direct Distribution channel.

Key Responsibilities

Hire & Retain Energy Officers

  • Recruit, train and maintain a team of at least 40 Energy Officers.

  • Use village influencers to source talent and build goodwill for Sun King’s mission.

    Training & Role Clarity

  • Provide training on sales, collections, product, technical and logistics.

  • Ensure Energy Officers understand daily tasks, routes and targets.

    Daily Field Visits

  • Maintain weekly touchpoints with Energy Officers.

  • Resolve issues and ensure first 5 sales are supervised for process clarity.

    Sales & Collections Targets

  • Meet or exceed monthly sales and collection targets.

  • Provide daily and weekly updates to the Regional Business Manager.

    Robust Field Sales Processes

  • Review collection progress daily and train officers on better practices.

  • Profile customers and repossess systems as last recourse.

    Customer Service

  • Deliver world‑class service in product delivery, training, installation and warranty.

  • Resolve customer issues within 24 hours.

    Marketing & Spend Control

  • Provide adequate marketing materials and equipment.

  • Ensure maximum ROI on costs incurred.

    Review Meetings

  • Conduct weekly meetings with Energy Officers and RBM.

  • Recognize outstanding performers and maintain motivation.

    Retail Presence Growth

  • Expand retail network with support from Cluster Leaders.

    Candidate Profile

  • Degree in Business
    or related field with at least 3 years’ sales experience.

  • Strong computer knowledge, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Extensive customer care experience.

  • Innovative, with strong planning and prioritization skills.

  • Skilled in relationship building and coaching.

  • Operational excellence and customer satisfaction focus.

  • Knowledge of the territory.
