Our client is an Apparel manufacturing company of both menswear and womens wear clothing for international fashion brand. The company strives to reach the highest quality export standard and has manufactured for very well established and celebrated designers.

They are currently looking to recruit a Product Development & Client Relations Manager. The ideal candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and over 3 years of experience working in the garment industry.

Key Requirements:

Creation and management of multiple client critical paths.

Oversee process from initial client communication to sampling, costings, receipt of PO and handover of order to production team.

Work across all departments to include management, finance, cutting, sample makers, quality control, ironing & packing.

Bring creative, innovative, and aesthetic support to the design and development process.

Fabric and trim research and building on current fabric/trim library.

Qualifications:

Relevant bachelor’s degree.

Minimum 3 years’ experience working in the apparel industry.

Excellent

communication skills with experience reporting to senior management.

Experience in being the lead contact with international clients.

Proficient in Microsoft office and design/presentation programmes such as Canva.

Basic understanding of and experience in pattern cutting and grading.

Experience in working autonomously and leading projects with good problem-solving skills, awareness of limitations and willingness to learn.

Understanding of the workings of a garment factory

Understanding of and interest in the international fashion industry – fashion brands, seasons, buying process etc.

Excellent English both verbal and written.

Ability to research, digest, analyse and present material clearly and concisely.

Honesty, reliability, discretion and confidentiality are essential.
