Our client, a leading Aquaculture company is seeking to hire a Construction Engineer to based in Nyanza Kenya. The successful candidate will manage, design, develop, create and maintain construction projects as well as conduct on-site investigations and analyze data, assess potential risks, materials and costs. The ideal candidate Must bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and at least 6+ years’ experience in construction project.

Key Requirements:

Manage, design, develop, create and maintain small-scale through to large-scale construction projects in a safe, timely and sustainable manner.

Conduct on-site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings)

Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications.

Assess potential risks, materials and costs.

Provide advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems/deficiencies.

Monitor progress and compile reports in project status.

Manage budget and purchase equipment/materials.

Perform other relevant tasks as instructed by your direct report.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.

At least 6+ years’ experience in construction project.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D and design skills.

Experienced with handling BOQs and project planning.

Project management and supervision skills.

Planning and organization skills, ability to independently prioritize tasks.
