Summit Recruitment and Search Senior Legal (Dispute Resolution, Employment & Labour and Advisory) Jobs in Kenya;Lead and manage complex contentious and non‑contentious matters across Dispute Resolution, Employment & Labour Law and other commercial/advisory areas, while supervising and mentoring lawyers, managing client relationships and contributing to practice growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage complex matters in Dispute Resolution, Employment & Labour Law and advisory.

  • Provide high‑quality, practical and commercially sound legal advice and representation.

  • Manage significant client relationships with efficiency and responsiveness.

  • Supervise, mentor and develop lawyers and team members.

  • Oversee deadlines, workflow, risk management, billing, fee collection and financial performance.

  • Contribute to business development, client retention and practice growth.

  • Collaborate with Partners and wider team.

    Key Qualifications

  • Advocate of the High Court of Kenya in good standing.

  • At least 8 years’ PQE in reputable law firm.

  • Strong experience in Employment & Labour Law or Dispute Resolution (civil/commercial disputes).

  • Substantial advisory experience.

  • Ability to independently handle complex legal matters.

  • Excellent advocacy, drafting, analytical, research and communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail; consistently deliver high‑quality work.

  • Proven client management and team leadership experience.

  • Strong commercial judgement; experience in billing, fee collection, financial management and business development.

  • High standards of professional integrity and accountability.
