Summit Recruitment and Search Polymer Sales Manager Jobs in Kenya;p The successful candidate will be a commercially driven sales professional with a strong understanding of polymer and plastic raw materials, their applications, and the needs of industrial customers. They will bring proven experience in B2B sales, business development, key account management, and market expansion, with the ability to identify new opportunities and deliver sustainable revenue and profitability growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue, volume, profitability, and market share growth targets.

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across packaging, infrastructure, manufacturing, and consumer goods sectors.

  • Drive sales and market penetration of polymer products including PP, PE, PVC, PET, ABS, PS, and specialty polymers.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key industrial customers, converters, and plastic processors.

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to deliver business objectives and foster a high‑performance culture.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, pricing movements, and customer demand to support commercial decision‑making.

    Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Polymer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, Commerce, or related field.

  • MBA in Marketing, Sales Management, or related discipline an added advantage.

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in polymer sales, petrochemical distribution, or plastic raw material trading.

  • Proven track record in business development, key account management, and B2B industrial sales.

  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and contract management skills.

  • Demonstrated leadership experience with ability to build and manage high‑performing sales team
