Summit Recruitment and Search Key Account Manager (Foton & Hyundai Construction Equipment) Jobs in Kenya; The Key Account Manager will drive sales of Foton and Hyundai construction equipment by engaging Kenya’s Asian business community and customer network.

The role requires Gujarati, Punjabi or Indian language proficiency, strong familiarity with the Asian business community, and proven B2B sales expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales of Foton and Hyundai construction equipment across construction, infrastructure, logistics and commercial sectors.

  • Manage the full B2B sales cycle: prospecting, client visits, product presentations, quotations, negotiations, closing and after‑sales follow‑up.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, contractors, developers, government institutions and strategic customers.

  • Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline, prepare forecasts and consistently achieve sales and revenue targets.

  • Conduct customer and site visits to assess operational requirements and recommend equipment solutions.

  • Negotiate commercial terms, pricing and contracts while maintaining profitability.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, customer needs and industry developments.

  • Collaborate with technical, service, parts and finance teams to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.

    Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Sales
    & Marketing, Engineering, Automotive or related field.

  • 5+ years’ B2B sales experience, preferably in construction equipment, heavy machinery, commercial vehicles or automotive.

  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets and winning new business within the Asian business community.

  • Strong experience in key account management, prospecting, negotiation and closing complex B2B deals.

  • Commercial acumen with understanding of costing, pricing, margins and customer requirements.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, relationship‑management and negotiation skills.

  • Valid driving licence and willingness to travel.
