Summit Recruitment and Search Chinese Sales Consultant (Automotive) Jobs in Kenya; The Chinese Sales Consultant will identify new business opportunities, manage client relationships, promote automotive products and services, and support the sales process from lead generation through to closure.

The role requires strong Mandarin proficiency and proven sales expertise to engage Chinese‑speaking clients and networks in Nairobi.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with Chinese‑speaking clients, investors, contractors, business owners and corporate customers.

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through networking, referrals, market research and direct engagement.

  • Promote company products and services, clearly communicating their commercial value.

  • Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, client meetings, quotations, proposals, negotiations, follow‑ups and closing.

  • Maintain regular communication with customers to understand needs, resolve concerns and encourage repeat business.

  • Support communication and coordination between Chinese‑speaking customers and internal teams.

  • Maintain accurate sales records, pipeline updates, forecasts and activity reports.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, customer preferences and emerging opportunities within Chinese business networks.

    Key Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in
    Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, International Business or related field.

  • 5+ years’ experience in sales, business development, key account management or customer relationship management.

  • Strong proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English, with confidence in business and client‑facing communication.

  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong business relationships and develop new customer accounts.

  • Self‑driven, target‑oriented, customer‑focused and capable of independently managing a sales pipeline to achieve targets.
