Our Client is a Statutory Institution whose mandate as a risk minimiser is to provide a deposit insurance scheme for customers of member institutions and to resolve any institution in respect of which the Corporation is appointed receiver or liquidator.

Job Summary

Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Administration the incumbent will provide support to the divisional head in handling front office services and customer related matters.

Duties and Responsibilities

The essential duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Maintaining a friendly neat and professional image while welcoming Corporation’s customers.
  • Responding to customer’s routine enquiries professionally and promptly.
  • Taking messages for officers out of the office.
  • Maintaining visitors and customer feedback registers.
  • Maintaining incoming mail register.
  • Receiving, recording and analyzing customer feedback to support decision making.
  • Undertaking directory enquiries.
  • Ensuring that the visitors lounge is clean and corporation’s visitors are comfortable.
  • Handling incoming calls and forwarding messages to appropriate staff.
  • Handling enquiries that are directed to the department and where necessary channeling them to the respective officers.
  • Providing assistance to general information requests with the accurate information
  • Handling all correspondents to the department

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience
  • A minimum of three (3) years relevant working experience in a similar position.
  • A diploma in Communications, public relations or
    related field
  • A relevant Bachelor’s degree will be an added advantage
  • Certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution.

  • Compliance With Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya
