Standard Group Kenya Business Manager – Coast Region Vacancies

The incumbent will be responsible for planning, coordinating, controlling and supervising the work of the team of Business
Executives to generate and meet agreed individual and teams’ volume against set annual revenue targets and to maintain excellence in relationship management.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop strategies to help the Group increase its market share in new and existing business.
  • Generate monthly advertising revenues against settargets
  • Recruit,train and offer strategic leadership to the direct sales team.
  • Manage sales efforts, including activities of sales representatives, negotiation, sales functions, and monitoring of
    contracts.
  • Establish systems and standards for regular assessment, monitoring and evaluation ofthe team againstthe strategic aims and objectives.
  • Supervise personnel,this typically include recommendations for hiring, performance evaluation,training, accounts allocation, and problem resolution.
  • Analyze and appraise the effectiveness of sales, as well as allocate sales targets to sales representatives.
  • Provide cutting edge training on product, sales processes as well as account management.
  • Ensure a high degree of staff morale and discipline by providing performance-driven leadership.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related field from a recognized institution
    Experience
  • Three (3) years relevant experience
  • Ability to motivate, coach and mentor.
  • Ability to create Business Concepts and translate them into new revenue.
  • Experience in Project
    Management will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to translate overall Group plans into operational plans.

    Standard Group Kenya Web - Designer Vacancies

    Reporting to the Technical and Analytics Manager, The Web Designer will be responsible for the following;

  • Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product development team, editorial and video production team.
  • Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
  • Develop UI mock-ups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how websites function and look like
  • Create original graphic designs
  • Prepare and present rough dra s to internal teams and key stakeholders
  • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems
  • Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
  • Adhere to style standards on fonts, colours and images
  • Optimize existing user interface designs

    Required Experience

  • At-least 2 years of experience with HTML5, CSS3 and JQuery.
  • Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
  • Portfolio of design projects
  • BSc in Design, Graphics design, Computer Science or relevant  eld
  • Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc)
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Adobe range of products including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat
