Job Description

To develop and oversee the implementation of provincial marketing strategies and activities that grow and retain clients and assets. To be accountable for all aspects of go-to-market planning and implementation for the relevant province/s to position the business unit's capabilities to internal distribution channels, staff, clients, and the external market.

Keep informed of developments in the fields of marketing, communications, public relations, digital marketing, client experience and financial services in order to use the insights gained to drive the organisation's agility and innovation.

Commission appropriate research, through the Strategic Insights Team, to develop relevant client insights to give direction to the Marketing and Communications Strategy. Translate and analyses research results to influence business action.

Provide the business units Heads with insight around competitive positioning and develop action plans to differentiate offerings through marketing communication. Enable effective decision making by reporting on the effectiveness of campaigns to assess the return on investment.

Execute and analyse integrated marketing strategies, take to market plans, and value propositions to deliver the desired client experience. Partner with the Client Expirience team to deepen client engagement. Direct the development of marketing solutions which capitalise on new client opportunities.

Develop and monitor budgets for marketing spent within the business unit that is consistent with the financial guidelines provided by the business unit and relevant Provincial Marketing.

Qualifications

Degree in Marketing / Communications / Social Science / Digital Marketing.

Experience required

Brand & Marketing

Minimum of 8 years experience in Leading a Marketing team in the implementation of marketing strategy for a medium to large organization. A proven track record in converting organizational knowledge and target audience insights into executable communication plans, coupled with the ability to design and oversee the implementation of marketing strategies
