Job Purpose

  • To lead,drive execution of Agile Release Train (ART) processes,monitor, control,manage dependencies, resolve,remove impediments, mitigating risks across the ART. Drive continuous improvement to assure consistent value delivery.

  • Provide visibility of health of feature delivery,overall program increment. Promote Lean-Agile transformation, influencing, coaching leaders,teams in the new processes, mindsets,adapt Agile frameworks to organisation, standardising practices leading to Enterprise agility.

    Key Responsibilites

  • Employ servant leadership to facilitate ART programme level processes and execution, drive continuous development, manages risks and manage impediments while also acting as a full-time chief scrum master to deliver to and innovate the desired client experience.

  • Drive the definition and refinement of the programme backlog and execution alignment to strategy by working collaboratively with other programme leaders. (Product and Solution Management, Product Owners).

  • Manage and optimise the flow of value through the ART using various tools, such as the Programme Kanbans and other information radiators as well as facilitating feature and capability estimation by teams and the roll-up to Epics, where necessary, enabling economic decision-making.

  • Engage directly with senior executives within and where necessary across countries to ensure effective and transparent communication with stakeholders, escalate unresolved impediments, identify and mitigate risks, and drive program success ensuring consistent value delivery.

  • Monitor and track all programme level dependencies and risks by orchestrating the execution by all Delivery Engineers and Scrum Masters and facilitate the resolution of impediments within span of influence and resolve escalated impediments.

  • Lead and drive Program Increment (PI) Planning readiness by implementing a Continuous Exploration process which drives the synthesis of a Vision, a Roadmap, and Backlogs through Pre- and Post-PI Planning events.

  • Prioritise, plan and implement the
    PI planning as part of the Agile Release Train (ART) and coach team on Agile adaption, standardising and documenting practices to ensure team alignment and continuity.

  • Establish programme level cadence and organise and drive programme level ceremonies (e.g. PI Planning, Product Management Council, Scrum of Scrums, System Demo, Inspect and Adapt Workshop) in order to motivate the team to work together in the most efficient manner.

  • Drive alignment of dependencies between the ART and third parties, release managers, and/or between the ART and other ARTs and foster the collaboration across Program and Team layer.

    Qualifications

  • Degree in Information Technology. In addition, Certified Scrum Master (Scrum Alliance), Professional Scrum Master (Scrum.org), or Certified SAFe Scrum Master (Scaled Agile) certification would be required.

  • 8-10 years experience with SAFe 4 framework and implementation of Agile Release Trains and facilitating Lean-Agile Programme execution in large solution and/or programme execution using the SAFe 4 framework and experience as a scrum master using Kanban software.

  • 8-10 years good understanding of Agile working practices and LEAN and SCRUM proficiency and working collaboratively across teams.
