Standard Bank Group Branch Manager Jobs in Kenya;The Branch Manager oversees customer service, business development, operational efficiency, and profitability of the branch.

The role drives asset and liability growth, ensures high customer satisfaction, and maintains strict compliance with internal bank policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Banking, or related field

  • 5–7 years’ experience in banking and financial services, with exposure to retail banking, customer relationship management, sales, and branch operations

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a Branch Manager or comparable leadership role with accountability for growth, customer experience, operational excellence, and profitability

  • Demonstrated success in asset/liability growth, sales performance, portfolio expansion, and revenue generation

  • Proven experience leading and developing high‑performing teams, including coaching, performance management, and talent development

  • Strong understanding of banking operations, risk management, regulatory compliance, AML, and internal control frameworks

  • Experience managing retail, SME, and business banking client relationships with a strong track record in business development

  • Financial acumen in managing branch profitability, budgets, costs, and performance metrics

  • Customer‑facing banking experience and focus on exceptional service an added advantage
