Responsibilities

  • Head of Religious Studies who
    will be responsible to the Deputy Head Academic for the provision of Religious Studies throughout the Preparatory School, as well as contributing across all areas of school life.
  • Their chief responsibility will be to provide the highest standards of Religious
    Studies with the aim of achieving excellent value-added for each child through
    outstanding teaching and learning within their department. The Head of Religious
    Studies will teach principally to Years 7 & 8.

    Qualifications

  • A good degree
  • A recognised teaching qualification
    e.g. PGCE
  • A demonstrable commitment to professional
    self-improvement
  • Experience of teaching KS3 in Religious
    Studies
  • A proven track record of excellent
    teaching ability and classroom management
    skills
  • Successful experience in raising student
    achievement and adding value
    Current Head of Department
  • Experience of teaching KS2 in Religious
    Studies
  • Experience of teaching the Common

    St Andrews Preparatory School Learning Support Teacher Jobs in Kenya

    Responsibilities

  • Will be a class teacher within that Key Stage, as well as contributing across all
    areas of school life.
  • They will be responsible to the SENDCo for the delivery of the learning support program, both working with individual pupils on a regular basis, or with small groups both in and outside of lessons.
