Duties and responsibilities:

Ensures that filter production KPIs are consistently met in the safest manner possible.

Production Process Supervision:

Planning and scheduling production; set and communicate production goals to supervisors.

Monitoring product quality by ensuring that the set quality parameters such as raw material, quality ratios, among others are within the acceptable range.

Availing resources; make sure that the production team have all the necessary resources needed for the production of filters.

Cost control i.e., ensure that the day-to-day production activities are run within the budget.

Monitoring machinery, equipment and electricity to ensure that the desired outputs of all equipment are met.

Team’s Performance Management

Facilitate in personnel trainings i.e., carry out or participate in training of production staffs.

Support in coordinating the performance review and management process for the junior staff.

Support in the leave management process i.e., engages with the production staff to ensure that leaves are planned and tracked efficiently.

Production Records management

Production data compilation and entries i.e., ensure that all necessary production records such as daily production volumes, defects, contact hours, etc. are accurately and timely recorded in the ERP system.

Health, safety & Environment

Security management; coordinate and evaluate security programs to monitor the factory security risks

from inside or outside the factory.

Ensure that the production healthy safety SOPs are followed e.g., wearing of PPEs.

Research and Development

Support in the continuous improvement of projects by conducting ongoing studies/research to improve on the filter performance and/or future products.

Qualifications and Experience

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering and Management.

3 years + related experience in the same role.

Prior 1 years’ experience in a busy organization in a managerial level.
