South Nyanza Sugar Company Agriculture Workshop Superintendent Jobs in Kenya

Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail:

i. Maintaining availability of mobile fleet at set targets;

ii. Identifying and initiating procurement of required spares;

iii. Ensuring operations parameter and targets are achieved;

iv. Ensuring analysis of performance data and reports and advice on areas of
improvements;

v. Ensuring adherence and compliance to OSHA requirements

vi. Analyzing machines and equipment production and productivity reports and
advising accordingly;

vii. Ensuring accurate costing repair works;

viii. Coordinating Vehicles and machine statutory inspections;

ix. Coordinating machines and equipment suitability tests;

x. Coordinating outside repairs.

xi. Ensuring adherence to machines and equipment repair and maintenance schedules

Person Specification

 Bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields: Mechanical Engineering (Automotive) Agriculture Engineering or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution

 Five (5) years relevant work experience

 Computer Literacy

 Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution
