We are an organization located in a rural environment consisting of tea estates and two highly automated tea factories.

We have an innovative approach to thr growing and manufacture of black tea and pride ourselves in the quality of our personnel anc productivity.

Forestry is also an important aspect of our operations.

We are seeking an applicant for the position of Feild Executive.

Qualifications

  • The successful candidate must have 10-15 years of senior managerial experience in extensive commercial agriculture preferably in a tea production role
  • Be able to demonstrate practical experience o extensive cropping systems.
  • A knowledge of commercial forestry and timber productior would be an advantage.

    This position is one of three Executive positions, each of which report Into the Managing Director and in turn, this position leads a competent team of managers responsible for all ter husbandry, harvesting and forestry operations.

    Key Responsibilities;

  • Personal day to day supervision of the Field management teams to ensure adherence to Good Agricultural Practice, focusing on maximising efficiences, cost control and the incorporation of both current and innovative techniques and technologies.
  • Field department budget planning, strategising and implementation for all Fiek operations.
  • Leading the regular review and interrogation of Departmental expenditures
    and variancr reporting.
  • Coordination of staffing and of human resources for all field and forestry operations.
  • Developing, implementation and enforcing Company rules, procedures and policies for sustainable future.

    Education,Professional Qualifications and Requisite skills;
  • Degree in Agriculture.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and cost analysis,
  • Proven administrative and management skills.
  • High level of integrity, strong work ethic. self motivator and an ability to motivate others,
  • Excellent people and industrial relations skills,communication, data management organisational and time-management.
