Position Summary

The Procurement Associate will be responsible for maintaining inventory stock and records; determine appropriate stock levels; receive and check in supplies.

Track purchase orders and work with vendors on issues and product quality.

Provide technical assistance on procurement processes; maintain detailed records and reports.

He/She will be reporting to the Head Supply Chain
Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities

Develop procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective

Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.

Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.

Promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.

Creating, Overseeing, and managing the tools/systems that track shipments, inventory, and the supply of goods.

Preparing procurement reports.

BSc degree In Purchase and Supply/Business Management Procurement option.

2 years’ experience in procurement and supply chain management.

Registered by KISM will be an added advantage
