We are Human Resource Solutions Company in Kenya is seeking to fill the role of a Software Developer.

S/He will be responsible for defining business and technical requirements to develop new functions or redesign/consolidate existing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Debug, fix and verify reported issues
    Own the end to end software development
    Work with peers to plan & prioritize the development and test strategy to ensure high quality and timely delivery of the fixes and tools
  • Reproduce customer problems and perform risk/cost analysis for every fix
  • Implement new software features, troubleshoot and fix bugs, write and maintain automated unit and system level tests
  • Contribute towards the creation of interface design specifications and diagrams for proposed data exchange interfaces
  • Support tests for new features, proposing new features, identifying and troubleshooting bugs
  • Improve interfaces using specified tools and standards
  • Support the development of test plans and performs unit testing for all interface projects
  • Maintaining the interface documentation and specifications
  • Assists with the deployment of tested interfaces into a production environment
  • Provide interface maintenance training to application support teams
  • Responsible for interface issue diagnosis and resolution

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer
    Science or 2+ years of industry software engineering experience
  • 2 years software development experience
    Knowledge and experience in Php frameworks
    Knowledge and experience in Linux cloud server setup, management and administration
  • Knowledge and experience in payment gateways integration
  • Knowledge and experience in ERP integrations, API and Web services design and development
  • Knowledge and experience in database design development, normalization and writing complex SQL scripts
  • Knowledge and experience in mobile application development and technologies
