Dairy Value Chain Expert in cooperative development or dairy or agriculture extension.

SNV Netherlands Development Organization (Kenya) is a Dutch based International Development Organization that provides market based solutions for the poor through local institutions and organisations in more than 30 developing countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America.

SNV Kenya is bidding within a consortium to deliver advisory support / expertise within an upcoming dairy project that aims to improve the incomes of smallholder dairy farmers in a number of counties in Western Kenya by ensuring that dairy value chain in the target counties:

Increases average income for farmers from the sales specific products in the promoted value chain

Increases employment

Increases productivity of small-scale farms

SNV is recruiting a long-term national expert in either cooperative development or dairy farming to work under the projects team leader/project manager and ensure achievement of project outcomes and outputs; implement the support strategy of the dairy value chain component: either in cooperative development or/and agricultural extension or/and train in dairy farming or/and commercial fodder production.
