SNV Call for Consultancy: Translation of Student Learning Guides Jobs in Ethiopia
Consultancy ObjectiveStudent Learning Guides are prepared by the Horti-LIFE Team in English and the project is now seeking to contract a Translator to translate the material into 3 Ethiopian languages, Amharic, Oromifa and Tigrinya.
Job Requirements
Have 5 years or more experience in providing in translation service preferably in agricultural documents is a plus
Having translation experience in Amharic, Oromifa and Tigrinya languages
Licenced to provide translation services in Ethiopia
Translators are qualified to degree level in Agriculture related subjects
Able to provide evidence of having undertaken similar work

Both the technical and financial proposals should be in a separate sealed and stamped envelope by writing the name of the specific assignment.
2% withholding tax will be deducted from the consultant fees at the source and will be paid by SNV – Ethiopia, assuming a TIN number and license can be provided, otherwise 30% withholding tax will be deducted.
Proposals must be received by SNV Addis Ababa office to the address below no later than 5:00 PM on 25 September, 2020.
