WASHTRA project of SNV is a three-year project aiming to address facial cleanliness (F) and environmental management (E) component of the SAFE strategy of the trachoma elimination.

The goal of WASHTRA project is to contribute to the reduction of the prevalence of Trachomatous inflammation follicular (TF) to < 5% in target woredas of Oromia region by 2021and to contribute to the health development of Ethiopia.

Objective

The main objective of the study is to assess the existing supply chain and WASH market in WASHTRA project intervention woredas from both supply and demand side of WASH businesses.

The ultimate result of the assessment is to give a solid ground for the project team and woreda stakeholders to define their market intervention, applicable supply chain, and finally to come up with workable business models applicable to their respective woredas.

Job Requirements

Technical qualification

Interested firm or individual consultant with a record of accomplishment of conducting similar studies and experiences in WASH marketing, supply chain and consumer preference assessment can apply. The team for the selected firm/individual needs to have demonstrated experience both in quantitative and qualitative studies.

Required expertise

Key personnel required for this assignment must have at least a Master’s degree. They include:
