Skills Geographic Mall Caretaker (With Tiling, Plumbing or Electrical Hands-on Skills) Jobs in Kenya

Certificate in Plumbing/tiling/electrical Works but Also Hands on Exposure Will Be Considered. Kcse Certificate. Must Be Willing to Live in the Mall.

Solid Technical Knowledge on Tiling, Plumbing and Electrical Works. Be Computer Literate.

A Team Player With a Customer-oriented Approach. Mall Caretaker Reports to the Property Manager.

He/she Will Ensure All Repairs and General Maintenance Are Successfully Undertaken in All the Properties Whenever a Need Arises. Other

Duties Includes:-

Supervising Other Staff Such as Technician, Contractors, Cleaners and Gardeners.

Ensuring the Removal of Garbage From the Premise.

Opening and Locking Up the Vacant Rooms and the Buildings.

Painting and Decorating When Required.

Experience:

Additional Attributes:

Carrying Out Building Inspections and Reporting on Them.

Carrying Out Minor Repairs, for Instance Clearing Blocked Drains or Replacing Broken Window Panes.

Repairing All Broken Tiles.

Ensuring That the Heating and Lighting Are

All Turned on and Off at Appropriate Times. Maintenance of the Building Fixtures and Fittings, I.e.

Window and Door Hinges, Minor Repairs as a Temporary Measure Etc.

Taking Delivery of Stores Materials

and Other Goods. In Charge of All Building Systems, Machines and Equipment and Their Maintenance.

Updating Appropriate Records and Log Books for Repairs, Orders and Meter Readings Etc. Involved in Deciding Which Equipment and Furniture to Purchase.

Monitor Stock Levels of Fuel, Light, Bulbs Etc. And Arranging to Replenish Supplies in Accordance When Required.

Storing Away and Making Secure Any Equipment After It Has Been Used.

Making Sure That the Heating Systems Operate at Optimum Efficiency.
