Skills Geographic Kenya IT Technician Jobs in Kenya



Requirements:

  • A degree or diploma in computer science, information technology or related fields.

  • Strong knowledge of network installation and troubleshooting.

  • Proficiency in using network testing tools.

  • Strong understanding of ip addressing and subnetting.

    Added Advantage:

  • Certification in network administration.

    Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in network installation and troubleshooting.

  • Experience in configuring and troubleshooting network devices, such as routers, switches, and access points.

    Salary: KSHS. 30,000 - 50,000 Plus Company Benefits

    Additional Attributes:

    IT Technician Main Duties Are as Follows:-

  • Conducting network testing to ensure proper functionality and performance.

  • Double-checking screens to ensure they operate normally and details are correct before deployment.

  • Surveying new spaces and preparing quotations for required materials and equipment.

  • Overseeing the installation of screens in new spaces.

  • Inspecting installation works to ensure they meet required standards and specifications.

  • Troubleshooting defects and issues related to the network, display failure, and power-related issues.

  • Configuring access point name settings on led vertical screens.

  • Activating iot sim cards and handling any issues related to these cards.

  • Serving as a liaison with safaricom personnel to handle any issues related to iot sim cards.
