Sightsavers Project Driver Jobs in Kenya; As part of Sightsavers and Mastercard Foundation’s partnership to deliver Digital Futures, the Kenya office requires an experienced Driver to deliver reliable and safe transport to staff, partners, visitors, and assist with transport-related logistics.

Duties & Responsibilities

Ensure safety of individuals being transported and maintain vehicles in good condition

Provide timely communications and updates upon reaching/departing destinations

Update driver planning and scheduling using project calendar and register transportation requests

Facilitate pick-ups for project visitors and transportation during official visits

Monitor vehicle mileage and ensure routine service and maintenance

Schedule periodical vehicle examination for service

Apply for renewal of vehicle license

Track maintenance schedules, tyre condition, and insurance renewals

Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and attend to faults/defects

Conduct routine daily checks (oil, water, battery, brakes, tyres, etc.)

Provide logistical support to project activities in office and field

Job Requirements

Skills & Experience

Secondary school certificate with driving school training or equivalent/relevant experience

Valid Class C driver’s license and clean driving record

Previous professional experience driving preferred

Experience in NGO, Embassy, or UN system with demonstrated safe driving record

Defensive driving experience desirable

Computer literate – basic skills in Word and Excel
