Sightsavers Communications manager Jobs in Ghana;; Sightsavers seeks an experienced Communications Manager with a strong focus on global health and disability inclusion to support its global communications strategy and thematic plans. The role involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, developing creative content and communication products, and providing on‑the‑ground support to programme teams in Africa.

Key Responsibilities

Support delivery of Sightsavers’ global communications strategy and thematic plans, including budgeting and reporting.

Manage external stakeholders and partners to design and implement communication activities.

Develop creative content and communication products that are relevant and persuasive.

Provide on‑the‑ground communications support to programme teams in Africa.

Skills & Experience

**Essential**

Demonstrable knowledge and experience delivering global communications strategies and activities.

Project management experience with proven results across diverse organisations and stakeholders.

Experience in international development/humanitarian sector with strong commitment to social justice.

Experience in communications campaigns with a focus on inclusion.

Budget design and management for communications activities.

Strong understanding of inclusive and accessible communication strategies.

Experience managing a team and working within a global team.

Commitment to disability and gender inclusion.

Excellent English communication skills and fluency in at least one local language (Swahili, Hausa, Bemba/Nyanja, or Twi).

Agile strategic thinking and ability to manage multiple projects under strict deadlines.

Strong presentation, public speaking, and interpersonal skills in multicultural contexts.

Competent user of Microsoft Office 365.

**Desirable**

Working proficiency in spoken and written French.
