Duties and Responsibilities

This will be the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the supervision and guidance of a senior officer.

Preparing physical development plans; undertaking feasibility studies on physical, social, economic and environmental characteristics;

Implementing County physical plans

Processing development applications; and

Maintaining physical planning records.

Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this post, a candidate must : -

Be Kenyan Citizen

Have a Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: - Urban and Regional Planning/ Urban and Regional Planning / Town Planning from a recognized institution;

Be a graduate member of any of the following: Kenya Institute of Planners /Architectural Association of Kenya / Town /County Planning Association of Kenya or equivalent and relevant recognized professional body

Master’s degree in a relevant field is an added advantage

Have a certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution.
