Shining Hope for Communities Gender and Inclusion Caseworker Jobs in Kenya; The Caseworker will manage GBV case management and child protection work, including database registrations and case follow-ups. The role involves assessments, counselling, referrals, awareness campaigns, and training gender champions.
ResponsibilitiesCase Management Perform assessments to obtain psychosocial information for new cases.
Compile and maintain case files.
Conduct regular monitoring, follow-ups, and timely case reviews.
Provide basic counselling and case management services.
Coordinate care services including medical, police, and legal referrals.
Identify children at risk and refer to appropriate services.
Conduct school sessions on rights, SRH, gender issues, and life skills.
Refer clients to medical, legal, and social services for recovery and justice.
Ensure adequate care and protection for clients.
Community Engagement
Organize awareness campaigns through door-to-door sensitizations, school campaigns, and community outreach forums.
Build partnerships with GBV partners and stakeholders.
Identify vulnerable cases and liaise with service providers.
Assist in developing services mapping and referral pathways.
Specialized
Support
Provide age- and gender-appropriate counselling for GBV survivors.
Conduct interviews, needs assessments, and develop case action plans.
Ensure timely referrals, follow-ups, and case closures.
Manage SUN Gender Desk at specific sites.
Train SUN gender champions on gender, GBV, and SGBV issues.
