The Companies in the group engaged in manufacturing (liquid soap, bar soap, Edible oil and shortening products), retail service providing, printing, trading and engineering.

Based on this, our sister Company, Shemu PLC want to hire competent, energetic, enthusiastic and capable applicants for the post we have.

Major responsibilities

Ensure the proper implementation of financial management practices by designing policies, and procedures. Plan, organize, direct and control the financial activities, coach teams under him/her and participate in formulation of strategies and annual budgets and work plans in line with the mission and vision of the PLC.

Detail responsibilities of the job include:

Participate actively in formulating strategic plan of the PLC,

Prepare annual work plan and the corresponding budget of the financial management division,

Review and proposes new financial management policies and procedures in line with financial management practice,

Ensure the implementation and coordination of the financial activities of the PLC,

Measure and monitors the performance of employees of the financial management division,

Coordinate and supervises proper allocation and implementation of annual budgets of the PLC,

Analyze and provides necessary information to the management of Shemu PLC's financial results and operations of the PLC by using management accounting tools and techniques /IFRS/ other standard reporting,

Arrange the regular audit of the financial statements and fulfills the external audit requirements,

Ensure that approved budgets and authorized transfers are utilized in core and support teams of the PLC,

Monitor the records and proper utilization of Fixed Assets and reports the status of the same to higher management,

Measure

and analyses financial reports and the extent to which the PLC uses debt to finance investment or its ability to meet its obligations.

Review work standards, methods and systems and recommend possible solutions for those impediments,

Evaluate suitability and feasibility of risk management strategies and cash flows management systems and recommend the result for management decisions,

Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Education:

M.A./B.A. Degree in Accounting and Finance

Experience:

A minimum of 8/6years of direct experience for B.A./M.A. of which 4 or 2 managerial or supervisory experience

Experience on Microsoft Navision or Microsoft Business Central is a plus

Knowledge of:

Knowledge of accounting Software, Tax and Custom laws of the country and experience in application of IFRS,

Excellent Computer Skill,

Strong written and verbal Communication Skill,

Work with under pressure situation,

Proven Problem-solving ability,

Experience in supervisory role
