Shabelle Bank SC Senior Monitoring & Evaluation Officer Jobs in Ethiopia;The Senior Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Officer will lead the planning, implementation, and strengthening of monitoring and evaluation systems to ensure programs achieve their intended results.

The role oversees data collection, analysis, quality assurance, reporting, and performance tracking across the Bank’s strategic and operational frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor implementation of the Bank’s Strategic Plan, Annual Business Plan, and departmental action plans

  • Track performance against approved Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and business targets

  • Follow up on departmental performance against planned objectives

  • Identify performance gaps, implementation challenges, and areas requiring management attention

  • Monitor execution status of strategic initiatives, projects, and action plans

  • Collect, compile, validate, and analyze performance data from branches and departments

  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability of performance information

  • Analyze trends in service and productivity activities

  • Prepare comparative analyses of actual performance against cascaded activities, budgets, and previous periods

  • Support data‑driven decision‑making through analytical reports and recommendations

  • Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi‑annual, and annual performance reports

  • Consolidate performance reports received from branches and business units

    Qualifications

    Education

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Management, Accounting, or other business‑related fields

    Experience

  • 4–6 years of banking or microfinance operations experience, including at least 2 years as an Office
