Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) Alliance Kenya Programme Co-Ordinator Jobs
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership and coordination to ensure country partners and stakeholders align in delivering SRHR Next objectives.
Coordinate planning, development and review of annual Country Work Plans in line with the programme Theory of Change.
Organize and convene annual planning and technical review meetings.
Monitor progress of Annual Country Programme and Budget Plans, tracking objectives.
Address partner underperformance, escalate long‑term non‑performance as per guidelines.
Identify and communicate emerging programme issues, facilitate solutions with partners.
Manage joint activity budget with support from Finance.
Ensure timely submission of narrative, finance and PMEL reports.
Facilitate collaboration and synergy among country partners.
Promote shared learning and joint initiatives in programme implementation and PMEL.
Organize and chair feeder teams (National Advisory Committee, Programme, Finance, M&E groups).
Facilitate joint advocacy efforts of the country coalition.
Coordinate partnerships with Dutch Embassy and other strategic SRHR partnerships.
Represent Kenya SRHR Next coalition at local, national and international events.
Position and elevate visibility of SRHR Next programme in Kenya.
Assure coalition sustainability through resource mobilization.
Perform
any other duty assigned by SRHR Alliance Kenya.
Educational Background & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Development Studies or related field required.
Master’s degree in related field an added advantage.
Minimum 5 years’ experience managing a coalition/consortium, with at least 3 years in coordination role.
Experience in programme management and consortium coordination.
Demonstrated experience working with local organizations and stakeholders.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Experience in SRHR advocacy required.
Proven track record in programme coordination, PMEL, budget management and coalition building.
Experience in networking and advocacy at country and regional level.
Excellent facilitator, connector, communicator and leader.
Strong administrative and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and travel to programme areas.
Familiarity with SRHR landscape nationally, regionally and internationally.
Excellent cross‑cultural, interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
Adaptable, flexible and willing to work irregular hours.
