Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) Alliance Kenya Monitoring, Evaluation Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Officer Jobs

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Collaborate with partner organizations to conduct outcome measurement and other MEAL assignments for SRHR Next.

Develop a strategy for documenting and disseminating programme results to partners and stakeholders.

Support analyses, evaluations and interpretations of qualitative and quantitative data.

Contribute to development of a prioritized SRHR Alliance learning agenda.

Train and provide technical assistance to partners on effective MEAL strategies.

Document and disseminate cross‑country lessons learned, best practices and experiences.

Ensure timely submission of project reports and deliverables.

Translate technical information into accessible formats for policymakers and advocates.

Monitor Alliance MEAL processes and advise accordingly.

Ensure baseline, midterm and end line evaluation requirements are met.

Represent the Alliance as SRHR Next programme lead in national and global working groups.

Perform any other duty assigned by SRHR Alliance Kenya.

Educational Background & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Monitoring & Evaluation, Development Studies, Statistics, Economics, Social Sciences, Public Health, Project Management or related field required.

Master’s degree an added advantage.

2–5 years’ relevant experience in MEAL/PMEL, project implementation, data management or development programmes.

Experience working with government agencies, communities and youth.

Knowledge of adolescent SRHR and HIV/AIDS environment in Kenya.

Excellent analytical and report writing skills.

Strong facilitation skills and professionalism.

Advanced skills in data collection software (Kobo Toolbox, ODK, CommCare).

Ability to work independently and within a team.

Experience communicating and coordinating with diverse partners.

Willingness to travel frequently to project sites in Kenya.
