Severin Sea Lodge Maintenance Supervisor Jobs in Kenya;The Maintenance Supervisor ensures reliable camp operations — power, water, guest areas, and plant — in a remote bush setting. This live‑in role leads the maintenance team, prevents issues before guests notice them, and works closely with Operations, Housekeeping, and F&B.

Tasks

  • Lead daily maintenance to keep guest areas, plant, and infrastructure reliable.

  • Plan and execute preventive maintenance routines to reduce breakdowns.

  • Brief, coach, and allocate technicians; maintain an organized workshop.

  • Respond quickly to job requests, especially guest‑facing faults, with clear follow‑through.

  • Ensure power, water, and backup systems remain available around the clock.

  • Coordinate with other departments to minimize disruption to guests.

  • Protect tools, stock, and company property; maintain accurate records and reporting.

  • Enforce safety, hygiene, and professional presence in guest areas.

    Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in hotel, lodge, or safari camp maintenance.

  • At least 1 year supervising technicians.

  • Proven ability to run full maintenance shifts and preventive plans.

  • Hands‑on skills in electrical, plumbing, and general building/plant maintenance, including generators.

  • Fluent English, spoken and written.

  • Willingness to live in camp,
    work rotating shifts (including weekends, public holidays, and call‑outs), and follow rotational leave.

  • Calm under pressure, guest‑first, and reliable on standards, safety, and integrity.

  • Advantageous: safari camp or luxury lodge experience; solar/PV systems; vehicle maintenance; relevant trade certificate or diploma.
