Duties and Responsibilities To secure information on the insurance policies
To verify the accuracy and completeness of information on claims
Administer and advice on insurance policies.
To identify opportunities for Insurance plans
Ensuring that the County Government of Siaya gets value for money on insurance services.
To identifying risk management strategies.
Process information on incidents and financial loss to the County
Haling of policy renewals and tracking claims.
Supervise and provide guidance to officers working under him/her.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate have: -
Served for a minimum period of 3 years in the position of Clerical Officer 1 or in a comparable and equivalent position in the public or private sector.
Have passed the Proficiency Examination for Clerical Officers;
Possess a Certificate in any of the following disciplines; Insurance, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Kenya Accounts Technician Certificate (KATC), Kenya Administration and Management Examination (KAME) or any other approved equivalent qualification from a recognized institution:
Be in possession of an information Communication Technology (ICT) certificate and be proficient in word Processors, Spread Sheets, Presentation and Database; and
Have shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results
All applicants are expected to present the following additional documents during interviews for purpose of complying with the provision of Chapter Six of the Constitution:
Tax compliance certificates.
Clearance from HELB where necessary.
Clearance from the Ethics and anti- corruption commission.
Clearance from the CRB.
Certificate of Good Conduct from the police.
