Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Reports to the Production and Plant Manager regularly on all technical (Electrical and mechanical respective to the position held)matters within the Company

Maintains a very close working relation with the Production Manager to ensure an optimal balance between quality and quantity of the produce

Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of equipment and machineries

Guarantees availability of fast moving spare parts

Organizes the spare parts store and introduces a proper inventory system

Supervises mechanics and electricians assigned to his/her Unit on a daily basis

Proposes technical modifications and procurement of equipment to the Plant Manager, in cooperation with the Production Manager, whenever required

Guarantees a safe working environment for all employees and staff

Keeps equipment and machineries in an excellent operational condition

Repairs broken equipment immediately to guarantee continuous production

Organizes and executes training sessions for staff assigned and for equipment operators

Guarantees safe keeping of tools and ensures maintenance and replacement of these tools if necessary;

Job Requirements

Qualifications/ Knowledge and Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be structured, able to maintain Excellent Technical knowledge and labor management

and must have an eye for detail.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.

Strong communication skills,

Fluent In Amharic and local area Language/Sidamic

Working Knowledge of English(All skills)

Strong IT skills, MS Office proficiency, especially Excel

Must be able to do shift works

Strong social skills for effective working relationships
very Proactive

Passion for producing results that have an impact

Minimum requirements:

At least four years(for Degree holders) and Five years (For diploma and above), of work experience in production and Technique department and In the specific different positions

Experience with management reporting

Experience in Manufacturing industries is advantageous

Education

Bachelor degree in the field of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Diploma

Work Environment/Physical Demands

Physical Effort

There will be periods spent standing or sitting in the same location with some opportunity to move about.

Almost continuously sitting in the same spot or standing/walking..
