Seefar is seeking CVs from excellent candidates for the role of Communications Expert, to develop and implement a communications strategy and related communication activities for an anticipated 20 month project in Ethiopia.

The position is part-time and is scheduled to comprise 100 working days over the 20 month period.

Please note for this position you must speak Danish fluently. You must also either be based in Addis Ababa, or willing to travel to Ethiopia at least every 4-6 weeks for periods of 3-7 days at a time.

Job Description

If successful, the Communications Expert will produce communications and develop a communications strategy for a project involving a Danish donor in Ethiopia.

The expert will be involved in creating compelling communication products, including visual and written, that target distinct audience groups.

An Excellent Candidate

The Communication Expert should have at least 10 years of experience carrying out communication assignments, including the design of communication strategies, in the public and/or the private sector.

You will need to have worked in development contexts, ideally East Africa, and previous experience of having worked on DANIDA assignments is highly desirable.
