Job Description
This position exists to ensure that timely advice are provided to the business, based on analysis /assessment of security risk / threat and impact to enable well informed business decisions to protect the company and AJ structures and reduce risks to the Permanent and seasonal crop on the farm , finished goods, machinery.
Plan, direct and execute Security activities to ensure safety of employees safeguard company assets including crops within the facility and boundaries .
It will include working with the government and community security organization and agencies.
Main Area of Responsibilities:
Provide timely advice based on analysis and assessment of security threats and risks to enable well informed proactive decisions.
Develop and execute security plans to meet company business objectives ensuring compliance with Africa juice Security procedures as well as compliance with local legal requirements.
Supervise subordinate staff and carry out activities as hiring,training,performance evaluation and disciplining.
Develop budgets for the company security department
Conduct physical examination of property, staff, boundaries in compliance to security policy and regulation.
Plan and conduct security investigations, risk analyses and reviews of security breaches.
Implement necessary security counter-measures, based on existing Company Security Policy and physical security guidelines and industry best practices and annual audit recommendations.
Lead in respond to emergencies like fire, intrusions, warning shots ,medical emergencies through
emergency response procedures
Maintain effective trusted networks with: law enforcement, woreda and Zone officials, Intelligence organizations, other government agencies and other security professionals
Plan, implement and sustain a security awareness programs within the Company.
Continuously review, implement and maintain effective security policy, procedures and practices to ensure safety and protection of personnel, assets and information and business operations.
Provide other needed assistance to General Manager and government police Security commanders.
Job Requirements
University Degree in social science is preferred, or equivalent qualification;
Diploma from Ethiopian any Military OR police college in military science
At least 5 years’ extensive security experience preferably farm plantation set up.Military ranking or senior police officer Commander.
Additional Competencies:
Computer skill MSword ,Excel .
Driving license.
Conflict resolution and diplomatic skill.
Skill in English language to communicate with Internet to prepare a reports.
Well spoken and written Oromiffa and Ahamaricis essential.
Functional Skills:
Strong investigation and interview skills.
Able to prepare and conduct investigations and provide assistance to the company.
Able to co-operate with third party service providers and internal/ external stakeholders, including forensic investigations.
