Save the Children Specialist - Business Analysis Jobs in Kenya;We are seeking a Business Analyst to support complex transformation projects and programmes by analyzing business areas, documenting requirements, and bridging gaps between projects, business functions, and IT. The role also contributes to the development and enhancement of BA methodology, processes, and tools.
Responsibilities
Partner with business and technology stakeholders to elicit, analyse, translate, and document people, process, procedure, and platform requirements
Document and act as subject matter expert on business processes to facilitate cross‑functional collaboration and knowledge sharing
Work within project teams to deliver incremental business value to users
Identify potential conflicting business requirements, definition gaps, and dependencies between projects, escalating to project manager for resolution
Support prioritisation of design requirements with informed understanding of organisational impact
Maintain accurate, version‑controlled documentation throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring accessibility to stakeholders and effective knowledge sharing
Contribute to ongoing development and maintenance of Business Analysis Methodology, processes, and templates
Experience and Skills – Essential
Experience in discovering and documenting business requirements and designing test cases with test engineers
Experience in modelling business processes and translating them into system requirements
Experience in analysing data, drawing actionable insights, and problem‑solving using analytical techniques
Experience with business analysis tools and methodologies such as UML, BPMN, and SDLC frameworks
Ability to collaborate effectively across functions including Solution Architecture and Test Engineering
Ability to build strong, trusted
relationships with colleagues and partners
Experience engaging diverse stakeholders to understand needs, priorities, and constraints
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to convey complex concepts clearly
Proven experience facilitating productive workshops, preferably in multi‑cultural contexts
Proficient in conflict resolution techniques to mediate stakeholder disagreements and ensure project continuity
Ability to effectively prioritise work and agree priorities with relevant leaders
Cultural awareness and experience delivering solutions internationally
Experience and Skills – Desirable
Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello) and office suites (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Education and Qualifications – Essential
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
Understanding of structured Project methodology (e.g., PRINCE2) or accredited Project Management training (APM or PMI)
Education and Qualifications – Desirable
Non‑profit sector knowledge/experience, especially international development projects
Second language – French, Spanish, or Arabic
